In order to avoid all this, I need all my love letters back, so that I can put corrector and send to my new girl friend. Please send it back to me. I don’t have poetic references or any photocopy of these letters.

Another thing ELISSA, I have given you one cute photo of mine. Can you send it to me please? You know better that this is the only photo I look very cute & handsome, and this photo I have taken when I was in my very first love.

And also, during my 1½ years of love days, I have spend lot of monies for impressing you. I am attaching a list of expenses which I request you to clear it at the earliest.

Girlfriend 5.0 to W i fe 1.0 :)

Dear Tech Support Team:

Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 5.0 to Wife 1.0.

I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child-processes that took up a lot of space and valuable resources.

In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activities.

Applications such as BachelorNights 10.3, Cricket 5.0, BeerWithBuddies 7.5, and Outings 3.6 no longer runs, crashing the system whenever selected. I can’t seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications.

I’m thinking about going back to Girlfriend 5.0, but the ‘uninstall’ doesn’t work on Wife 1.0.

Please help!

Thanks,
“ A Troubled User”

Dear Troubled User:

This is a very common problem that people complain about.

Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 5.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program.

Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!!
It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 5.0.

It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed.

You cannot go back to Girlfriend 5.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed not to allow this. (Look in your Wife 1.0 Manual under Warnings-Alimony-Child Support) .

I recommend that you keep Wife1.0 and work on improving the environment.

I suggest installing the background application “ Yes Dear” to alleviate software augmentation.

The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway.

Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean 2.5, Sweep 3.0, Cook 1.5 and DoLaundry 4.2. However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program NagNag 9.5 . Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Sarees 2.1 and Jewellery 5.0

STATUTORY WARNING: DO NOT, under any circumstances, install SecretaryWithShortSkirt 3.3. This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system.

Best of luck,
Tech Support …

Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a slow down in the overall performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications that had operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 un-installed many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, but installed undesirable programs such as NFL 5.0, NBA 3.0, FIFA 6.2 and RUGBY3.0. And now Conversation 8.0 no longer runs and House Cleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.

I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Signed,

Desperate

Dear Desperate:

First keep in mind; Boyfriend 5.0 is an entertainment package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system. Try entering the command C:\ I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME and download Tears 6.2 to install Guilt 3.0. If all works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. But remember, overuse can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1. Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will create Snoring Loudly.Away Files.

Whatever you do, DO NOT install Mother-in-Law 1.0 or reinstall another Boyfriend program. These are not supported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have a limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider additional software to improve memory and performance. I personally recommend Hot Food 3.0 and Lingerie 6.9.

Good Luck,

New Year Brings Good or Bad…

How was your new year guys? My new year was seemed to be a bit boring and not so good. On the last new year day, I went to Kien Svay Krao with a few of my colleagues. It was not really a good day for us as 2 things were happened:

1. We ran into an accident when we were just setting off. A couple on a motorbike who just made their way out from a small breakfast shop crossed the road carelessly and suddenly hit the right side of our car. They were lucky since we drove very slowly that time (about 15km/h).

2. Right after finishing our delicious lunch, we received a call that houses at Boeung Tror Bek were on fire. What was so frightening is that my colleague’s house and another of his relative were in the same block! We were rushing back and running into the fire area to see how it was going. Luckily, the fire was on control by the time we arrived, and none of our house was affected. However, we also felt very sorry for those whose house was burned.

The view of the fire which was already under the control.

They were rushing in taking their valuable items out from their houses.

On the first day of the new year, there was also a fire on the top back of the Naga World, and a few day before the new year, the biggest fire of the year (named by the Chief of the Firefighter) was happened in the capital of the country as well. It was spent for more than 4 hours to be able to control the fire. More than 200 homes were burned, and thousands of people were homeless.

The girl was crying while her home was under the fire.

After getting through all these stuffs, we still enjoyed the rest our day! We went on boat riding, corn grilling, vegetable picking, and many other stuffs.

Do they really know about this stuff? You can see through their face!

Last but by no mean least, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Wish you all the best!

The Pride of Cambodia

“ The day we had been waiting for four years has finally arrived,” said most, if not all, 2006-2007 graduands. On March 5, 2008, all graduands from all departments of the Royal University of Phnom Penh (“ RUPP” ) and of the Institute of Foreign Languages (“ IFL” ) gathered in the big hall of RUPP attending the Graduation Ceremony. Each and every face is full of smile, joy, proud, and confident, and that include me and my classmates as well.

A warm smiling face with joyfulness of my classmates and me

An unforgettable moment in my life

I am so proud of my classmates when learning about what they have been doing and their achievement.

Nothing is happier for me when i see hundreds of resources have ultimately fully grown with enough skills and capacities to participate in developing the country.  I do believe and hope that they will put all their skills and efforts to help build up the country.  “ They are all the pride of Cambodia.”

To live a good life…

I’ve found it on my lecturer’s blog, and I think everyone should read this. Click on the link below:

Water Festival?

Water Festival should be the days for everyone to relax, to hang out, and to enjoy the celebration, but it’s surely not for me :-(   My colleagues and I are gathering to revise all the lessons for the very forthcoming ACCA December Exam. What’s the bad days huh???

Love is …

“ Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful nor conceited. It is never rude or selfish. It does not take offense and is not resentful. It take no pleasure in other people’s sin but delight in the truth. Love is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes.”

This quote is from my all-time favorite movie ” A Walk to Remember”

A Food of Thought

“ If you don’t STAND for something, you might FALL for anything.”

Quote of the day…

I found this on my lecturer’s blog:

“If those who are better off do not act in a more socially responsible manner, our growth process may be at risk, our polity may become anarchic and our society may get further divided. We cannot afford these luxuries” (India’s Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh).

This quote flawlessly applies to Srok Khmer, especially to the “ neo-rich” folks.

ALONE or LONELY?

What’s point of having many people around you, but no one is your real friend?

“ Better being alone than being lonely,” that’s my perspective. What about you?

WORK LIFE BALANCE!

“ WORK LIFE BALANCE!” That’s one of the slogans used and encouraged in the firm I’m working cuz we are not born just to work; we have to enjoy our lives as well (generally speaking, it’s traveling). After flying back from working in Siem Reap, I take another flight to M’sia on my company annual trip. There are approximately 100 staffs joined.

This is an unforgettable trip despite some problems. It provides an opportunity to free ourselves from long days of working and studying, and especially to build a strong relationship among us who work as one team with one spirit.

As mentioned in my About Me page, “ Travelling” is one among my top priorities, and here it came agian :-D . During my 10 so-busy days fieldwork in Siem Reap, my colleagues, their friends, my clients, and I took a one day trip to Tonle Sap Lake to visit the floating villages and environmental conservation area.

After long hours of traveling, we are arriving at Prek Toal and having our lunch here before continuing our journey to the conservation area.

image223.jpg

Most of lives we are seeing are birds which you cannot see outside this conservation area. We have to use Telescope to see as we cannot get anymore closer to them. Unluckily, we have only one telescope; therefore, we have to queue for it.

Sorry that it’s not so clear as I took it from the telescope.

This is a new life experience and a way to help release my stress after long long days of work. No matter how busy with work you are, remember “ Work Life Balance!

What does Pchum Ben mean to ME?

Pchum Ben is a time when all Cambodian people go to pagoda to worship their ancestors. However, I personally define it as the days which I can relax and refresh myself from long days of work and study!

1st time ever in my life

It is my first time ever in my life sitting the eight-hour ACCA class for three consecutive days finishing an ACCA F3 course book (approximately 400 pages).  The lecture speed is so fast that I sometimes cannot catch up even with turning the pages. I remember once when I went to the toilet for around 3 minutes and when I got back, half of chapter was already finished! I don’t really have any idea how to pass the December Exam. Oh god, please help me! :(
